Caroline MacGillivray

At the tender age of three, Caroline began the journey of exploring movement, breath work and dance. After fifteen years of ballet, Caroline’s life revolved around singing, dancing and acting. This “triple threat” ‘s exploration of the mind body spirit connection grew through voice work classes during her Full Time Two Year Training at Gastown Actor’s Studio. Some of the highlights include founding the award-winning Beauty Night Society fifteen years ago, speaking engagements that include a TEDX talk, and scholarships for additional training.

Through Aradia Fitness, Caroline was one of Canada’s first pole dance for fitness instructors. With 15 years of experience of wellness and health promotions in marginalized populations, Caroline was gifted a scholarship for medical qigong practitioner and therapist certification at Empty Mountain Institute. In addition to working with patients in clinic, Caroline teaches medical qigong workshops and classes. In addition to qigong, Caroline encourages connecting with mind, body and spirit through different modalities. Additional trainings Caroline has been gifted include 200 hour YTT through Karma Teachers and Prenatal yoga training with Lori Lucus. Currently Caroline is working on becoming a Master in Medical Qigong and reiki certification. Caroline teaches barre, meditation, ballet body, aerial yoga, vinyasa, hatha, yin, chair, kids classes throughout Metro Vancouver. A yoga teacher, dance instructor, writer, and speaker are selected activities Caroline is known for.
